Building Something New for Mumbles

We are creating a space for STEM and design in Mumbles, shaped by the community from the start.
Nothing is fixed. Everything is being built around what people actually want.

What is This?

This is not a finished programme.
It is the start of something that could bring hands on learning, creativity, and real world skills into the local area.

From making and design to coding and problem solving, what this becomes depends on the people who use it.

Why This Matters

Too many opportunities feel out of reach or disconnected from real life. We see the potential in young people every day, but also how many do not engage with traditional approaches.

We want to create something more practical, more relevant, and more inclusive.

Built With the Community

We are not deciding this alone. We are asking simple questions.

  • What should this be
  • Who is it for
  • What would make it worth showing up for

Your input will shape what happens next.

Help Shape It

We are gathering local responses to guide the next steps.
It takes two minutes and it genuinely matters.

Be part of building something new in Mumbles.

About The Hwb Collective

We are a community led project bringing together education, design, and real world skills.
Started by a local teacher, but built with the community.

The goal is simple. Create a space where people can learn by doing, explore ideas, and build confidence.

We listen first. Then we build.

Get Involved

Right now, getting involved means sharing your voice.
Your ideas will shape what this becomes.

You can also express interest in future sessions, support events, or be part of building this from the ground up.

This could become a regular space in Mumbles for hands on learning, creative design, and community projects.

But the direction is not set. It will grow based on what people want, not assumptions.
