Forty-one original HWB revision images are now live.
Engineering Design, Product Design and Fashion and Textiles now use a complete set of original contextual illustrations created for the HWB revision tools.
Why the images were rebuilt
Many Design and Technology questions depend on a product, component, construction detail or manufacturing context. The new images retain that question-critical information while using original product forms, compositions, colours and HWB visual styling.
What is included
The update adds 15 Engineering Design images, 18 Product Design images and 8 Fashion and Textiles images. They cover contexts including smart materials, mechanisms, electronics, renewable energy, product manufacture, packaging, textiles, garment construction and user-centred design.
Designed for learning
Labels are included only where they support interpretation of the stimulus. The questions, marking guidance and model responses remain independently written by The Hwb Collective and aligned to the WJEC GCSE Design and Technology specification teaching from 2026.
Image and source position
The live revision tools do not reproduce WJEC past-paper artwork or embedded Question Bank images. Official WJEC materials remain available through external links. The local contextual illustrations are original HWB educational assets. © 2026 The Hwb Collective CIC.
